With an aim to create micro-batch craft chocolate bars, showcasing the flavour notes of single origin cocoa beans, Isobel from Dormouse Chocolates started out from her home kitchen in 2015.
Originally working as a temp in a chocolate shop, she developed a love for chocolate after being offered a job as a bean to bar chocolatier.
And she hasn't looked back since.
Graduating from the kitchen table, she now has her own premises in the re-purposed Granada Studios in Manchester.
Preserving the art of hand-making your chocolate, Isobel likes to keep things 'old-school'. Preferring to source her cocoa beans as directly as possible from cocoa farmers.
Now an award-winning craft chocolate maker with several awards from the esteemed Academy of Chocolate, Dormouse Chocolates has gone from strength to strength. Even being showcased on breakfast TV shows and in lifestyle magazines.
